Student Projects
Boles ISD is working on researching, designing, and constructing a wind generator to benefit Boles ISD and our environment. The students working on this project are from left Lindsey Danley, Priscilla Collard, Brant Sims, Donovan Davis, Dillon Lewis, and Haley Turman.

Caddo Mills ISD is working on constructing a Hovercraft and designing lesson plans that explain the sciences on how it works. The students working on this project are on the front from left are William White and Isaiah Smith. On the back from left are Sara Stewart and Michaela Kemp.

Celina ISD is researching alternate fuels to power a student designed vehicle for efficiency and environmental safety. The students working on this project are from left to right Zack Nobles, Adam Thomas, Allie Watkins, Kim Baxter, Chris Ramos, and John Stark.

Clarksville ISD is taking on the task of comparing water from Clarksville Water Treatment Plant to well water. The students working on this project are on the front row from left are Berenice Alfaro, Heather Carrell, and Joel Munoz. On the back row from left are William Woodberry, Jaquan Garnes, and Ashley Reed.

Commerce ISD is working on creating hands on activities that will teach geometry to students visiting the Northeast Texas Children’s Museum. The students working on this project are on the front row from left are Candice Hines, Tristan Crowell, and Kristi Gonsalez. On the back row are Yvonna Hines, Taylor Trusty, and Jennifer Huffines, Kyle Putman (not pictured).

Cooper ISD is experimenting with various plants that will help reduce the mosquito population without the use of toxic chemicals. The students working on this project are from left are Kathleen VanBibber, Desiree Young, Alex Knutson, Logan Arthur, and Glen Moore, Jeremiah Hartman (not pictured).

Leonard ISD is engineering and constructing a solar power vehicle that will follow Winston Challenge guidelines. The students working on this project are on the front row from left are Brooke Kay, Max Scoggins, Bradley Dills, and Taylor Conti. Quinlan ISD is constructing telescopes in order to aid their community in the study of astronomy. Sulphur Bluff ISD is conducting laboratory examinations of microscopic contamination in Hopkins County area high schools. The students working on this project are from left are Fatema Basrai, Joshua Formoso, Jackie Blake, and Minerva Marquez, Cody Clawson (not pictured).

Whitewright ISD is experimenting with wind turbines in order to learn how they can generate enough energy to help Whitewright ISD and the environment.
