Texas A&M - Commerce Chapter of Sigma Xi (Kids' links)
Kids' Science Links

This page is just barely begun, and is still very much under construction. Please check back every now and then. If you have any suggestions for other links, or comments about these links, send an email message by clicking here.

A good site for questions where you can ask a scientist or engineer a question (or just look at questions other kids have asked) is run by the National Science Foundation

Project Dragonfly is a science project for kids and their teachers. Dragonfly is going to be a science magazine for kids, with some of its articles written by kids, and some written by scientists for kids. Click here for Project Dragonfly.

Here are some other links: For older kids, try Cornell Math and Science Gateway for Grades 9-12.

The San Francisco Exploratorium is one of the most impressive science museums in the US. It's got something for everyone. You can go there, if you click on San Francisco's Exploratorium.

This one might have some interesting math stuff for kids, but you might have to dig around: The geometry forum, at Swarthmore.

Here's one for science: Hands-on science centers worldwide.

I don't know much about this one, but it looks very informative: UC Museum of Paleontology.

Here's a link to the GLOBE program, where students make observations and share their data with scientists.

The following links may not be working properly; try them out and let us know if there are problems.

If something's been bugging you, for fun go there.

Check out the marine life at Monterey Bay Aquarium.

I don't know much about this one: Journey North.

Finally, you can check out some of the links on the "resources" page for Sigma Xi, right here.
