Name: Jody McIntier
Statement of Commitment:
I would like to nominate myself for Foundation Representative
and President. I am committed to making KDP an organization
that students will be proud to join and will strive
to meet the standards for membership. While there
are many that have been chosen to teach I'm not one
of the chosen, but I am passionate about education
and have a desire to make a positive impact on the
future of education. If I am elected I will do my
best to promote KDP in a professional, enthusiastic
and passionate way to all members and potential members.
I feel I am qualified for the position for Foundation
Representative and would gladly serve in both positions
if chosen.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

Name: Kathy Berry
Statement of Commitment:
Please allow me to introduce myself. For the past
23 years, I have endeavored to bring business education
to life for my students. As a current member of the
secondary site-based committee at my school, I work
with my fellow colleagues to ensure that our students’
receive an education that will make them a productive
citizen of our society. Working with students in the
capacity of the UIL Academic Coordinator, I am able
to know my students on a much more personal level;
I help them to realize that success is around the
corner for those who work hard and think positively.
Being part of Kappa Delta Pi, an organization that
promotes excellence among its members, is a privilege.
That privilege is one that I would like to extend
to others by running for vice president.

Historian Nomination |

1st nomination |
|
| |
Name: Kai Dupé

Statement of Commitment:
My commitment to Kappa Delta Pi and the Officer Panel
will be relentless and consistent. I am very disappointed
by the lack of response that was received when the
call for nominations was broadcast. When I read the
word “dedicated” in Dr. Wickersham’s
follow-up message I knew that I had to nominate someone
and subsequently decided that someone would be me.
I have only recently discovered my passion for helping
others through education. However, with the support
of organizations such as KDP I can actually make a
difference to others. This is something that I feel
very strong about and have never considered the platform
that this organization can provide to do just that.
I feel honored and privileged that I have been inducted
into such a prestigious society and I will not let
the opportunity to serve and do my part to uphold
and maintain the values of Kappa Delta Pi as an officer
pass me by. The members of the panel can depend on
me to give maximum effort. I will do all that I can
to ensure that all activities of the organization
are an unprecedented success.
My devotion and dedication will go unmatched and
with the dedication and effort of the other members
of the panel I am certain that together we can move
KDP forward into 2005 and beyond.
