Basic Writing e-Journal is an electronic forum designed to help broaden our conversations about Basic Writing. 

Basic Writing e-Journal also:

1. • Provides additional publication opportunities to those of us involved in BW
   

2. • Allows for publication of those pieces that perhaps don't fit, for whatever reason, the Journal of Basic Writing
   

3. • Provides a space for teachers to respond, to question, to further explore, etc. issues that appear here, in JBW, and in other venues
   

4. • Provides a forum for review and discussion of books focusing on Basic Writing issues
   

5. • Continues to inform interested parties about what will happen at future 4Cs
   

6. • Publishes the text and handouts our workshop presenters provided at the most recent conference
