Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority, Inc. was founded at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on April 11th, 1997, by seven women of Vision. Today, Theta Nu Xi has spread her wings, and has grown beyond the Founders every expectation.

Theta Nu Xi became the first such sisterhood in the entire Southeastern United States, and strives to unite and educate every campus and community on the many similarities and differences that we all must learn to understand and share with one another.

Our mission is:

To promote leadership, multiculturalism, and self-improvement through academic excellence, involvement in and service to the campus and community, as well as being living examples of sisterhood across different races, cultures, religions, backgrounds, and lifestyles.
